The civic body has awarded the contract to France based SUEZ SA towards the extension, rehabilitation and operation of the drinking water distribution system of the entire city of Mangalore. The project is funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB). As part of the project scope, the company will design and lay down 1,388-km of drinking water network, design and construct a filter house, clear water sump and pumping stations.
