The HAL Helicopter Factory at Tumakuru, Karnataka, was dedicated to the country on February 6, 2023 by Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The PM visited the Helicopter Facility and Structure Hangar and unveiled the Light Utility Helicopter facility. He also lay the cornerstone for two Jal Jeevan Mission projects in Tiptur and Chikkanayakanahalli in Tumakuru, as well as the Tumakuru Industrial Township.
