The Halwara Airport Building, which would cost Rs 50 crore, will be completed by March 31, 2022, according to the Punjab Chief Minister. For the purpose of constructing Halwara International Airport, the state government had acquired 161 acres of land. The Punjab government has decided to provide funds for the project, which will be reimbursed by AAI afterwards.
