The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is investing Rs 500 crore to expand Pune airport capacity. By May 2023, the airport in Pune will have a new integrated terminal. There are plans to add domestic and international cargo terminals at the existing airport in Pune, according to the Union minister of civil aviation and steel. The minister officially opened the Rs 120 crore, 5,000 square foot Aeromall, a PPP project between AAI and Pebbles Infra-tech, as part of the airport expansion plan. The Aeromall consists of a multi-level parking garage, as well as shops, a food court, and office space.
