Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL)
The Noida international airport will be developed by YIAPL over more than 1300 hectares of land as part of Phase-I. YIAPL is a 100 per cent subsidiary of the project’s Swiss concessionaire Zurich International Airport AG. In the first phase, the airport will have a single runway and a capacity to handle around 1.2 crore passengers a year. The foundation stone of the Noida International Airport in Jewar was recently laid. The concessionaire has already tied up INR 3725 crore in debt from State Bank of India and will invest INR 5700 crore in first phase. The phase-I work is likely to be completed by 2024.
