Tamil Nadu CM Inaugurates 19 Water Resource Projects Across Eight Districts

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister inaugurated 19 water resource projects in eight districts, including three check dams in Coimbatore and Tirupur. The projects, completed at a cost of ?89 crore, include key check dams across the Amaravathy River at Kavundayanvalasu and Mambadi-Punganthurai, and a check dam across the Kothavadi stream near Pollachi. Other initiatives include check dams across Kudaganaru, Santhanavarthiniyaru, and Nanganchiyaru rivers, a barrage in Dindigul, a new lake in Tirunelveli, a dam in Perambalur, and a new water resources office in Trichy.
