Patna Metro Rail Corporation (PMRC)

PMRC has identified a 76-acre plot for the construction of Patna Metro Depot near Patliputra ISBT at Mauza Pahadi on Patna-Gaya Road. The social impact assessment would start soon. On completion of the assessment, the land acquisition process would start. The metro depot will have two workshop and inspection bays each with a provision of additional two bays for the future, 8 stabling lines which can accommodate 32 three-coach trains, and an auto-coach washing plant. The administrative area comprises an auditorium, training school, canteen and operational control centre.
