Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)

BHEL has secured an electro-mechanical (E&M) works contract from M/s Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) for the Polavaram Hydro-Electric Project in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The project envisages manufacture and supply of India’s highest unit-rating Kaplan hydro turbines. Polavaram HEP, being developed by APGENCO, is located in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh.
