The Telangana government has allocated around Rs. 100 crore to enhance government hospital services in the older areas of the city. This project includes upgrading Barkas, Kamatipura, and Dabeerpura hospitals, resulting in the addition of 200 beds collectively. Additionally, there are plans to restore and renovate the heritage building of Nizamia Tibbi College and Unani Hospital.
