SPV to provide four lane national highway connectivity to MMLP

The multimodal logistics park (MMPL) is being constructed in Chennai by Reliance Industries. A government special purpose vehicle (SPV) has been established between NHLML, Rail Vikas Nigam, Chennai Port Authority, and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation for the purpose of the Chennai MMLP. The SPV would connect 5.4 km of four-lane national highway to the MMLP, at an estimated cost of Rs. 104 crore, and 10.5 km of new rail siding at a cost of Rs. 217 crore.
