The Peripheral Ring Road project near Bengaluru is proposed by the Bangalore Development Authority. The project comprises an eight-lane, 73.5 km road connecting Tumakuru Road and Hosur Road. BDA has recently floated the tender for the second time. The project’s implementation has been delayed for a number of reasons, including land acquisition issues, environmental impacts, legal obstacles, and changes in the plan, among others.
