To build a copper refinery in Mundra, Gujarat, Kutch Copper Limited (KCL), a division of Adani Enterprises, has obtained a debt of Rs 6,071 crore. As part of phase 1 of the greenfield plant, the unit will have a copper refining capacity of 0.5 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). In two phases, a total capacity of 1 MTPA is envisaged.
