The Haryana Sarasvati Heritage Development Board (HSHDB) has commenced excavation for the 350-acre Saraswati Sarovar on panchayat land between Rampur Hediyan, Rampur Kamboyan, and Chhalour villages in Yamunanagar. The project aims to rejuvenate the Saraswati River and develop associated heritage sites, with plans to construct a barrage on the Som River and a dam at the Haryana-Himachal Pradesh border.
