Chandigarh's Tertiary Treated Water Project Gets Green Light with Rs 83.8 Crore Bid

The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation has received a Rs 83.8 crore bid, 9.29% below the estimated cost, from SBE Engineering & Infra for the project to strengthen tertiary treated water supply and lay pipelines. Scheduled to be completed in 18 months, the initiative aims to expand the TT network by approximately 400 km, covering all city areas. Funding is provided by the Government of India’s Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation 2.0.
