Project News | Project Update | Project Opportunities

The Arunachal Pradesh government has reassigned five hydroelectric projects totaling 5,097 MW to SJVN due to private developers’ inability to meet project requirements. An agreement was signed on August 12 between SJVN and the Arunachal Pradesh government to oversee the execution of these projects. The construction, with an estimated investment of Rs 50,000 crore, is expected to contribute over 20,652 million units of electricity annually to the nation’s power capacity. The assigned run-of-the-river hydro projects, including Etalin, Attunli, Emini, Amulin, and Mihumdon, collectively fall within SJVN’s jurisdiction.
