The Chief Minister of Telangana has directed a study on implementing underground electric cables along Hyderabad’s Outer Ring Road. Officials will explore global best practices and alternatives to shift all cable types underground. This project aims to reduce power losses, prevent electricity theft, and minimize damage during natural disasters. In addition, the Clean and Green Energy Policy-2025 was unveiled during a review meeting with the Electricity Department.
