Road Ministry sanctions upgradation of Moradabad - Thakurwada - Kashipur road section

The Moradabad – Thakurwada – Kashipur section of NH-734, which connects the two states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand (including the Moradabad and Kashipur bypass of Moradabad and Amroha district), has been approved for improvement and upgrading work under the EPC mode at a cost of Rs. 1841.92 crore. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, stated in a series of tweets that this upgrading project, which spans 33.724 km (including flexible pavement), will be finished in two years. Travel time will be greatly decreased by linking Moradabad Bypass Corridor NH-734, or the Moradabad-Kashipur route.
