Tamil Nadu government is keen to establish mini textile parks in Coimbatore

In the Coimbatore district, the Tamil Nadu government is eager to establish small textile parks. The entrepreneurs who establish the textile park will receive a 50% subsidy from the state government, up to a maximum of Rs 2.50 crore. A park must have a minimum of three textile workshops and a minimum area of 2 acres. It will be equipped with all the necessary infrastructure, including land, an approach road, a captive power plant, a sewage treatment facility, a marketing hall, a warehouse, a workers’ hostel, a crèche, a restaurant, a workshop, a warehouse for raw materials, and machinery. Interested businesses can submit the detailed project report to the Deputy Director, Textiles Department, regional office on Sangagiri main road in Salem.
