Mumbai Coastal Road project progressing well

The BMC is building the 10.58 km first phase of the Coastal Road project in Mumbai, which runs from the Princess Street flyover at Marine Drive to the Worli-end of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Girgaum Chowpatty will be connected to Malabar Hill via a road with twin tunnels that are 2.07 kilometres long. The tunnel on Nepean Sea Road that connects Girgaum Chowpatty and Priyadarshini Park has nearly half of its construction already been finished. By December 2023, the Coastal Road project, which is expected to cost Rs 12,721 core, should be finished.
