A centre of excellence will be established in Tiruppur by the South India Textile Research Association (SITRA) in collaboration with the Dyers Association of Tiruppur. Through this facility, SITRA intends to provide training for those working in the processing industry, encourage the use of environmentally friendly chemicals, and aid in lowering water and energy use. Additionally, it plans to construct a new laboratory, exhibit cutting-edge technology, and provide certifications.
