Union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Hardeep Singh Puri virtually laid the foundation stone for the development of the Demonstration Housing Project (DHP) at Sematilla in Dimapur. The prefabricated sandwich panel system—EPS cement sandwich panels with steel structure—will be used to construct this G+2 building, which will include 40 units. It will serve as a hostel for working women. The project is being built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) at a cost of INR 10.85 crore and will be supplied with additional features and suitable social infrastructure.
