To upgrade and expedite economic development and generate job opportunities, the Odisha government has redoubled its efforts to establish ancillary industries. In this regard, the state of Odisha has announced investment of up to Rs 600 crore by the Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation to establish 23 new industrial parks in the state (IDCO).
