In the second quarter of 2022, India added 430.45 MW of wind generation capacity, a 57% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) increase compared to the 275 MW installed in the first quarter 2022. According to latest data given by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the total number of wind installations in the nation is 40.8 GW. In comparison to 239.6 MW in Q2 2021, the installations grew 80% year over year (YoY).
