A Center of Excellence (CoE) for the Foundry Industry is being established in Coimbatore by the Foundries Development Foundation (FDF) in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation (TIDCO). The CoE is likely to being operations by April 2023. The centre will be used to produce castings, train workers, and demonstrate new technologies.
