Charge+Zone, an EV charging network firm located in Vadodara, has partnered with oil and gas giant HPCL to install 500 end-to-end high-speed charging stations across the nation over the course of the next one year. According to the deal, HPCL would provide space inside their existing petrol pumps for the installation of charging stations, while Charge+Zone would invest 200 crore in capex, with the project cost of each charging station estimated to be Rs 45 lakh. By October 2022, the project is expected to get started.
