The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) is building the National Investment and Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) near Zaheerabad in Sangareddy District, which will be located at Nyalkal and Jharasangam mandals. In the two mandals, the manufacturing zone will cover 12, 635 acres. TSIIC owns almost 3,100 acres of the 12,635 acres that will be developed for the NIMZ. There are around 1,484 acres of patta (private land) and nearly 1,616 acres of government land among these. The project’s overall cost is Rs 3,095 crore. The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has accorded environment clearance to the project.
