Honda Motor Company plans to begin a battery sharing service for E-Rickshaws in the first half of 2022, using the Honda Mobile Power Pack e: (MPP e:). Honda MPP e: is a portable and swappable lithium-ion battery capable of storing more than 1.3 kWh. Honda will establish a local subsidiary in India to commence battery sharing service business.
