Bihar is set to achieve a major milestone in renewable energy with the launch of two solar projects in Kajra, Lakhisarai district, with a combined capacity of 301 MW. Expected to be operational between July and August, the initiative includes India’s largest battery storage system of 495 MWh, ensuring stable power supply during peak hours. The project marks a significant step in Bihar’s renewable energy expansion, reinforcing environmental sustainability and long-term energy security.
