The Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train, featuring Japanese Shinkansen technology, aims to cut travel time to two hours. The ?1,08,000 crore project has achieved key milestones, with 386 km of pier foundation and 272 km of viaduct completed as of February 2025. While rail laying is underway, track installation is yet to begin. Larsen & Toubro is executing major works, targeting completion by December 2025. The high-speed corridor will connect 12 stations, enhancing regional connectivity and economic growth.
