The Andhra Pradesh government has approved upgrading the Community Health Centre in Nandigama, NTR district, from a 50-bed facility to a 100-bed area hospital at an estimated cost of ?34.48 crore. The project includes ?28.60 crore for construction, ?3.38 crore for recurring costs, and ?2.50 crore for land acquisition. A new G+4 block covering 60,000 sq. ft will be built within the existing 2.4-acre CHC premises, with minimal demolition of ancillary structures.
