NHPC Limited will commission hydro projects with a total capacity of 2,170 MW by the end of FY26, including the long-delayed 2,000 MW Subansiri hydropower project in Arunachal Pradesh. The company currently operates 22 hydropower projects with a total capacity of 7,233 MW, comprising 6,571 MW of hydropower and 662 MW of renewable energy.
