Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL)
CMRL is constructing 118.9 km long three-corridors as part of the Chennai Metro Phase-II project. The metro rail line planned on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR) will cover a nearly 20 km stretch from Thiruvanmiyur to Siruseri SIPCOT with 22 stations. The authorities are likely to start the construction of twin metro rail tunnels covering nearly 1.4 km each between Thiruvanmiyur and SRP Tools.
