NTPC plans to produce green hydrogen by gasifying municipal solid waste (MSW) and agricultural waste using plasma-based oxy-gasification technology. This demonstration plant will convert approximately 25 tonnes of waste daily to generate around 1 tonne of green hydrogen per day.
