Central Railway
The Belapur-Seawoods Uran suburban railway line covering 27-km is the most delayed railway project in Maharashtra. The railway line is being jointly constructed by Central Railway and the City Industrial Development Corporation Limited (CIDCO). The project phase-I comprising the Belapur-Kharkopar stretch was commissioned in November 2018. On the Kharkopar – Uran route, the authorities have to complete the construction of five stations, two major bridges, forty one minor bridges, two road under bridges and two road over bridges.
