NTPC and Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore opportunities for integrating supercritical units into the existing Chhabra Thermal Power Plant. The agreement also entails implementing measures to improve efficiency and reduce power generation costs for the plant’s existing units. Additionally, the MoU includes the undertaking of 15 to 20-year annuity-based Renovation and Modernization (R&M) of old thermal units of RVUNL, facilitated by NTPC or its affiliates.
