Odisha’s Chief Minister lays the foundation stone for the Rs 6,225 crore Bhubaneswar Metro project, aiming to connect Biju Patnaik International Airport to Trisulia with 20 stations over 26 km. The project, executed in collaboration with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, is set to bolster urban mobility in the state. The elevated viaducts will host metro rail tracks, with a completion target of four years. The initiative aligns with the Detailed Project Report, offering an efficient transport link from Bhubaneswar airport to Cuttack via Trisulia.
