Kargil Steel & Power plans to establish a TMT bars manufacturing plant in Chak Sagta, Kathua district, Jammu & Kashmir, with an annual capacity of 1.20 lakh tpa. In addition to TMT bars, the facility will produce various steel products like angles, channels, rounds, mild steel patti, and flats. The project will occupy 3.78 acres of land and is expected to commence soon, with a targeted completion date of August 2024.
