SJVN Awards Renewable Energy Auction Contracts to Seven Firms for 1.18 GW Capacity in India

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) has concluded the auction for the supply of 1.5 GW of electricity from renewable energy projects in India, including storage systems. Contracts have been awarded to ACME Cleantech Solutions, Juniper Green Energy, Tata Power Renewable Energy, Solarcraft Power India (Blupine), TEQ Green Power XVI (O2 Power), Hero Solar Energy, and ReNew Solar Power. The tariffs for ACME (250 MW), Juniper (200 MW), and Tata (200 MW) stood at INR 4.38 (US$0.053)/kWh. Meanwhile, ReNew (184 MW), Solarcraft (150 MW), Hero (120 MW), and TEQ (80 MW) offered a tariff of INR 4.39 (US$0.053)/kWh. SJVN allocated 1.18 GW of the 1.5 GW capacity on offer through these awarded contracts.
