The Goa state cabinet has recently approved a proposal to carry out the survey, design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a high-tension sub-station at Saligao. The project work involves 3×63 MVA, 220/33kV and 1x10MVA 33/11kV GIS sub-station at Saligao along with associated interconnecting 220kV D/C transmission line from 400/200kV PGCIL Colvale sub-station to Saligao sub-station.
