The Telangana Super Thermal Power Project (TSTPP) at NTPC-Ramagundam has achieved a significant milestone, successfully operating its first ultra-supercritical unit at its full capacity of 801.6 MW on July 23, 2023. The unit’s synchronization to the grid on March 24 paved the way for this achievement, highlighting the project’s progress and dedication to delivering reliable and efficient power generation in the region. As the second 800 MW unit is expected to be operational soon, the TSTPP is well-positioned to play a crucial role in meeting Telangana’s increasing energy demands.
