The Mumbai Beautification Project, worth Rs 2,000 crore, has been launched by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) across its civic wards. According to the Maharashtra government’s instructions, the action was taken. The project includes beautifying traffic islands, creating wall murals, lighting up parks and beaches, and embellishing forts. 10,000 toilets will also be built as part of the project in slum areas.
