In the Korba area of Chhattisgarh state, the Chhattisgarh State Power Generation Company Limited (CSPGCL) is building a mega thermal power plant with a 1,320 MW capacity. Super critical technology will be used for the proposed plant, which will have two units of 660 MW each. The plant’s completion would increase CSPGCL’s generation capacity to 4,300 MW.
