Japanese air conditioner maker Daikin plans to set up AC manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. The plant capacity will have a total annual capacity of 1.5 million units. The company has acquired land in this regard under the PLI scheme for white goods. The new unit will be operationalised by 2023
