The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, along with the Maharashtra government and MFSCDCL, has signed an MoU to establish the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT) in Mumbai. With a ?391.15 crore one-time grant, the institute will focus on the AVGC-XR sector and is located in Goregaon’s Film City. IICT will begin operations from a temporary campus at NFDC, aiming to serve as a centre of excellence for education, research, and skill development in digital creative technologies.
