The Andhra Pradesh government plans to acquire 30,000–40,000 acres of land around Amaravati for infrastructure expansion, including a new international airport. The blueprint includes inner and outer ring roads and new highways linking major cities. The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority is identifying suitable parcels in Guntur and Krishna districts to integrate Amaravati’s seed capital region with broader regional infrastructure.
