The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) plans to expand state laboratories to enable real-time water testing and has called for a study on the impact of increased sewage treatment plant (STP) capacity on Yamuna’s water quality. The board also proposed a centralized digital platform for recognized labs to share water quality data in real time. Additionally, DPCC has directed officials to expedite the installation of 32 Online Continuous Monitoring Stations along a 22-km stretch of the Yamuna in Delhi.
