The Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme (RIPS) 2024 introduces a range of incentives to attract investment in renewable energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and green hydrogen projects. Key benefits include waivers on Pollution Control Board fees, 100% subsidies on cross-subsidy and additional surcharges for green hydrogen production, and exemptions on transmission and wheeling charges. Captive renewable projects receive 100% exemptions on banking, wheeling, and transmission charges, alongside capital subsidies and SGST reimbursement for up to seven years, significantly reducing operational and setup costs.
