Vedanta has announced a Rs 1 lakh crore investment in Odisha to establish a 6 MTPA alumina refinery and a 3 MTPA green aluminium plant. The project is expected to create 2 lakh jobs and support Odisha’s goal of becoming a USD 500 billion economy by 2030. Additionally, Vedanta plans to develop educational and healthcare facilities as part of this major initiative.
