Urban Extension Road-II on track for December opening to enhance Delhi's connectivity

The Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), envisioned as Delhi’s third Ring Road, is set to become fully operational by December, improving connectivity across north, northwest, west, southwest, and outer Delhi. Lieutenant Governor recently reviewed the 75.7-kilometre stretch of the project, which includes a six-lane road costing ?3,600 crore, with 54.2 km within the Capital. Funded by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and executed by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), UER-II aims to ease traffic and enhance connectivity in critical areas of the city.
