The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has signed an MoU with the Survey of India to develop and validate GIS-based land acquisition plans for upcoming national highway projects. Under the agreement, the Survey of India will assist in developing standard operating procedures and preparing terms of reference for consultants tasked with preparing detailed project reports for land acquisition.
